The Bear presents Hero-to-Zero Stories / “Scheitern” /
Prepare 5-minute stories about mistakes, misfires, misfortunes, and mishaps:
You have a dream job and then comes the dreadful boss; you reach down to grab that 100 euro bill when a wind gust blows it away; your IT start-up is worth millions and the 2008 financial crisis arrives; you just made the final payment on your new car and your son crashes it the next day; you graduate from college and a year later, you’re unemployed and in debt; you finally find the perfect, beautiful, affordable apartment and the owner decides on someone else; you’re invited on stage, the light is shining, the audience is listening and you blackout …
We always hear about people’s success stories and you start to think you are the only one who makes dumb-ass mistakes or has bad luck. Be comforted. On Feb 17, we will all be sharing those moments when we f*cked up, made the wrong decisions and went from very high to very low, very “in“ to very “out“, from hero to zero – in a heartbeat. We’ll laugh and we’ll cry about failing and in the end, share the wisdom learned.
Failure is unimportant. It takes courage to make a fool of yourself. Charlie Chaplin
