The 4 BIG Questions to Ask Yourself
Daniel H. Pink uses a formula he calls 4Q4 for interviews that sums up the interviewee’s main idea, the reasons to believe it and take action.
These same four questions are essential to answer in every talk where you have a clear message to convey and you want the listener to take action. Here are the 4 questions:
– What’s the big idea?
– How do you know?
– Why should I care?
– What should I do?
It’s really that simple (or challenging).
All the rest is unnecessary.
Save your words, your breath, and your audience’s time.
Focus on these four questions and you’ll have a winning speech.
